Save the Date Cards

Save the Date Cards
This is a lovely idea,
Although not so popular here in Ireland
it does give your guests a lot more time to plan and save for your big event,
especially if they have the added cost of staying over at the venue,
This can be sent out 6 months prior to your wedding.

Personalised Bridal Candle

Personalised Bridal Candle
and a matching Favour candle

These large pillar candle are widely available and range in price,
Go for a good quality one (duffy & scott) are one of the best.
I have added a acetate cover,
and used Alphabet peel-offs to spell out the couples names
added a lace band, and overlayed a cream ribbon band
then added some ribbon trails and a organza bow, and added a pearl trim to the top and bottom,
and finished it off with a pearl and diamond button

The little glass night light
is dressed the same, but on a smaller scale
and has a tiny gift tag attached, as a wedding favour gift,
the candle is Vanilla so will fragrance the room as well.

Wedding Favours

Long narrow box big enough to hold 3 handmade sweets

Long narrow
But decorated with lace ribbon and a rose
and a greeting attached to the side

Vintage favour cone
with a jewellery finding attached to the end
and a plastic cone bag filled with sweets,
A nice idea is to mix and match the sweets.
Chose all your favourite one.
Front view of cone

4 inch Sq box, great for handmade cookie
There are so many lovely ones

Why not make your own.

Wedding Favours
You can go to town on these,
But try keeping the cost down by making your own
These little boxes were made on the Crafter's Companion Board ( which has a box maker on one side and a score board on the other, it also comes with a very useful book with loads of design folds)

But you can buy wedding favour boxes ready to decorate yourself very cheaply on ebay,
